A Presentation on Nuclear Safety in Germany: How Far is Far Enough?

Alexander Belyakov successfully presented on the topic “Safe and sustainable after nuclear accidents: how far is far enough?” during the International Day at the University of Greifswald, Germany, June 2, 2015. Kernkraftwerk Greifswald, also known as Lubmin nuclear power station, was the largest nuclear power station in East Germany and one of the first in united Germany to go through the decommission process. Its estimated cost are close to $.3.3 billion. The government plans to close all of its nuclear power plants by 2022.
